True, for these rates you could stay at one of the larger luxury hotels in Paris. But the Lancaster is a smaller boutique hotel that oozes luxury but is much more intimate in feel. It is constructed in a 19th century private mansion and is literally around the corner from the Arc de Triomphe. There is a mix of modern and antique in the hotel, which is mixed with beautiful artwork and furnishings. This hotel even has a Zen garden. The rooms are posh and luxurious to say the least: including beautiful paintings, porcelain, fine linens. Bathrobes, slippers and a turndown service are all a part of a stay at the Lancaster.
