If you want to see one example of how the French decorate their homes, one place you can go is Habitat. I’d call it the “Pottery Barn” of France, selling all sorts of wares for the home, the kitchen, the bathroom. Very stylish and not terribly expensive. There are many Habitat around Paris, I enjoy the one at the Madeleine because it is close to a lot of other shopping in the area.
