This is famous chef Alain Ducasse’s bistro in the 8th arrondissement, and it is constantly full. In fact, reservations are so hard to come by that it is recommended you call at least a month ahead. The place is sleek and trendy, and the menu is “fusion”: Asian, American and Italian. The idea is to mix and match the dishes, as everything tends to go together quite well. Some people think it’s a lot of fun, others think it’s too different for their taste. Either way, it’s something you can’t really experience elsewhere. They offer lots of vegetable dishes, good for vegetarians visiting meat-loving Paris.
