This is the quiet and residential area of the left bank, with the Eiffel Tower serving as a backdrop. It is here that you will find the Ecole Militaire, the Invalides, the Eiffel Tower, the Musée Rodin. It is also home to Rue Cler, the stomping grounds of travel lover Rick Steves. You can find a lot of places to grab a bite along Rue Cler (including the wonderful “Le Notre”), but the 7th has a lot of great restaurants to choose from. Since it’s very much a neighborhood where people live and work, the restaurants cater less to tourism and more to Parisians. That means good food at good prices!
