This is another of Guy Savoy’s restaurants, this one on the Seine overlooking the booksellers (thus “bouqinistes”). Modern décor and a more modern theme to the menu. Reservations essential. Read more about Les Bouqinistes in this article on 10 great places to eat in Paris.

i will say that the food is great.
the restaurant is laughable. it is trying to hard to be something that is perfected in other cities, like new york…a bustling, busy, focused on service, type restaurant; but they somehow nose-dive in their attempt. the staff descended on our table in a group of 4, yet were so unorganized that they kept crashing into each other, dropping things, making errors in food ordered. they cleared the plates the minute someone put down their fork, while others at the table were still eating. they have a telephone ringing with a loud annoying (cheap) telephone electronic ring in the middle of the restaurant. it was a catastrophe watching parisians trying to be new yorkers or something along those lines. not at all worth it…there are far better places!
the food was however, superb. i will be fair and say that the food stood on its own. i only wish they had take out, because the restarant is going down in a fiery mess.
